“Origen” is David Yárnoz’s casual gastronomic concept.


In David Yárnoz´s own words: “Origen represents the essence of this house. It is where we come from. A concept of traditional cuisine that also evolves.

The menu offered in Origen focuses on seasonal products and includes traditional preparations cooked with pinches of creativity. We can define it as lifelong kitchen, with homemade broths and powerful flavors, which seeks a balance between tradition and the knowledge acquired by David throughout his career.

The menu in Origen changes to the rhythm of the sea- sons and in some of its elaborations we can find subtle Asian influences, the result of the work of the team at Molino de Urdániz Taipei.

In 2022 Origen received the Bib Gourmand distinction with which the MICHELIN Guide distinguishes restaurants that stand out for the quality and price of their proposal.
